Practice manager/veterinarian

Dr. Davon Carolina

Dr. Carolina was born in Philadelphia, PA, but at the age of 4, he relocated to the beautiful island of Freeport, Grand Bahama in the Bahamas where he completed his primary and secondary education. Throughout his childhood, Dr. Carolina developed a love for dogs which became the foundation upon which his passion for taking care of animals was built. This passion ultimately led him to pursue a Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine.

In pursuit of his dream, he moved to Huntsville, Alabama where he completed his Bachelor’s Degree in Biology at Oakwood College after which he attended Tuskegee University and obtained his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine graduating Cum Laude.

As the Practice Manager at Blue Diamond Animal Hospital, he has embraced every challenge with open arms and finds enjoyment in facilitating the growth of his team and practice. Dr. Carolina finds joy in being an advocate for his patients and educating his clients about the health and well-being of their pets.

To this day, Dr. Carolina still considers dogs to be his favorite animal. He has a 10-year-old pitbull affectionately known as Ammo who has not only been his veterinary school study partner, but also his long life pal and now a best friend to his children. When away from the animal world, he enjoys following the Philadelphia Eagles, watching movies, and hugging his wife and children.

Dr. Carolina’s passion for animals continues to grow daily and it is the driving force behind many of his professional decisions. As his practice expands, he will continue to practice medicine and serve his community in a way that will result in the betterment of his patient’s lives.
