Practice owner

Meet Dr. White

Dr. Debbie White grew up in the Midwest in Hammond, Indiana. Her love of nature and animals led her to a career in helping animals. She attended Purdue University in West Lafayette, Indiana where she received both her B.S. in Animal Science and her D.V.M. Shortly after graduation she moved to the desert Southwest and has proudly called Las Vegas home ever since where she lives with her husband and her pets, “Boss” a Yorkie-Shih Tzu mix and “Nikki” a Bouvier des Flanders.

Dr. Debbie manages Lone Mountain Animal Hospital and is proud of the superb team of veterinary professionals that care for its patients every day. Her practice interests include internal medicine, ultrasound, and professional wellness. In her personal time, Dr. Debbie enjoys traveling, hiking, yoga, and meditation.

Managing Doctor

Meet Dr. Parker

Dr. Taylor Parker is originally from Akron, Ohio. She moved to Florida for college at the University of Tampa, then attended Ross University of Veterinary Medicine in St. Kitts and Nevis. She pursued her desire to work with exotics and attended Louisiana State University to finish her clinical year. During her final year of vet school, she completed externships at the Cleveland Zoo, Tri-State Bird Rescue and Research Center and a one-month, one-on-one externship in Africa. Her love of exotics brought her to Lone Mountain Animal Hospital, where she continues to grow her skills with pigs, birds, reptiles, and small mammals.

Just like her father, Dr. Parker enjoys surgery and leadership. She became Medical Director several years ago and has now stepped into the role as Managing Veterinarian. She enjoys traveling and reality tv–(who doesn’t love good housewives drama?). Since pigs are near and dear to her heart, they have become one of her favorite patients to treat as well as birds. She has a Greyhound named Cali, and shares two cats with her husband, Dr. Efrain Vassallo (manager of Aliante Animal Hospital).
